We all came into this earth with the intention to gain something WILD out of it. Who would have thought that we’d end up being greater than ever, once achieving that! Your past wouldn’t have believed that! I know for a fact that every single one of us came into a world where things were not meant to be easy. For my fellow healers, we’ve experienced an exceeding amount of repression imposed by the very people we looked up to. Despite the shameful past we’ve all experienced, we all have something in common- We are stronger. Our traumas are teaching us to overcome our biggest fears, and transform our greatest weaknesses into our boldest strengths.
We encounter unique obstacles in order to encompass the very things we never thought we could run from. Then! Life finds you under a rock, hiding from that which you have been running from, and once more puts it in your face. The audacity! Yet, this time, your obstacle is disguised as something you thought you could trust. This universe works in mysterious ways, cruel even, you may say. However, you are faced with everything that the universe places in your path so that you can face it without fear, learn from it, heal from it, and heal that very thing that brought you down too many times.
Life will always make you face your fears so that you can be reminded of how strong you are. You are a creation of power! Power is acquired through patience, strength, wisdom, and the decision to ACT! It will not fall into your immobile lap.
Never give up the wonderful being that you are!
I came from a family that loved me dearly. However, I was raised to be submissive. I was raised to not have a voice, to work hard in my scholarly activities, and to not ask questions. But I love asking questions! How else am I going to get an answer! For a long time, I didn’t understand why relationships (of all kinds) didn’t work for me until the universe forced me to face a person that represented everything I had been running from my whole life! I knew I wanted something more from myself, but I hadn’t realized that I was standing in my own way because I couldn’t see that my past repeated itself time after time, person after person. I was stuck in a loop of being submissive to other people, omitting my own voice, thus my power. I spent so much time with my head down, pushing through whatever I could to complete all forms of education. When the time came for me to end my scholarly path, I finally looked up, and I was lost within myself. I felt like I had a life of chaos behind me, but nothing truly significant to show for the being that I am.
What’s next, Universe?! I asked myself. And the Universe answered.
My past woke up for the last time, in my significant other. I was put down in more ways than I should have tolerated. But I was taught to be submissive. Over time, I began to remember… starting with the phrase I heard often as a kid “Speak only when spoken to.” I knew what I had to do. I will have no more of that! I will speak, and scream, and shout! I will slam and pound and erupt! I will be the very thing my fears are afraid of. I will be the answer that I was never taught to question.
My favorite part of being alive is questioning everything we’ve been taught. From that moment in being, I’ve questioned all that I could, and will always continue to.
Never take anything to face. Question… and question it again. Find your own answers, and question those answers until you are sure that it is here to help you! There is no greater power than mental freedom. How are you going to get there if you’re stuck listening to everyone else, but yourself? How do you plan on living a happy life, if you don’t live it for yourself?
We will no longer sacrifice who we are becoming for someone or something that perceives us as anything less than who we are! We…have been underestimated for too long! The worst part is, that for a time we believed that underestimated being was who we should be. It never felt right, did it?
Never give up who you are because you are afraid of what the world expects you to be. The Universe expects you to be much greater. Be your own sun, moon, and stars. I can guarantee that one day, others will look upon you in awe, just like all the other galactic wonders.
Never… be afraid of who you are.
